Creation is always derived from personal vision and expression. An idea is born from a combination of imagination and skill. Artists have always used the technological tools of their times, often expanding the creative use of those tools. Gabor Lang's artistic process is a marriage of his own photographic images with his fine art and drawing skills, combined with computer technology.

A photograph is as personal as a name, a fingerprint, a kiss. It concerns me intimately and passionately – Sid Grossman

The artistic career of Gabor began in the mid 1980's. It was a period when a sudden impulse was felt throughout Eastern Europe, when events began to speed up, and various art groups, styles, and fashion trends were taking shape. By the mid 1980's, East European boundaries became too small and provincial for Gabor. He needed to expand his personal and artistic domain. Gabor attended high school and college in Budapest. He began to draw and photograph following his own instincts. He studied drawing at Spring Drawing Studio in New York City. His biggest support came from a well-known Hungarian artist Géza Németh. Géza started pushing Gabor to explore different directions and styles of drawing and photography. His influence led Gabor to recognize the importance of combining different styles of expression with computer technology. Gabor's love of travel and his fascination with different emotions and moods drove him to photography. His images reflect street scenes and urban life where ordinary existence becomes the subject of his lens. His images capture the street where people play out their own imaginations as city clowns and beautiful ballerinas. Within his images of cities, he creates the illusion of familiarity to the place, leaving the viewer with a sense of déjà–vu. New York City has given him a big canvas to create images that try to reflect the mood and emotion of the moment. His works has been reproduced and displayed in several private collections.
